Viewing another PC's HD on another PC

I've an older PC with a duff video card but in no rush to replace as my current PC and laptop are fine. I'm curious about viewing what was left on the HD without either taking it out and installing it as a slave or transferring data onto my current PC. Is there any cabling that I can use to view it on my PC as if it's an external drive? Thanks in advance for any replies.

You will have to take the drive out of the system its in and either slave it to yours or put it in an external case or use a usb adapter llike this to view the files on it. There is no way around it.

Thanks John. The external option looks good, and preferable to slaving it. Mind you, I have a feeling it was a large drive so may do it eventually.
