So i got a hold of zalman the other night, asked the about getting new mounting hardware for my CNPS7700-AlCu heatsink, they had me fill out an rma and emailed me back today saying they sent it out. honestly i was expecting to have to pay for shipping.

All in all i think i will be buying zalman for pretty much everything from now on.

Yeah, Zalman is a wicked company with awesome products!

Thats awesome to hear you had such a positive experience!

Not sure of any company ive had to pay shipping for to get a replacement part back unless ive had to send something in. Zalman makes some wicked power supplies though aswell.

my actual first email conversation with them they said could send parts but shipping cost would depend on where i am. and then they shipped it for free. with the warranty being up

aviation thats nice, feel like buying me one too :)

Raidmax sent me a replacement handle for the one that broke on my Raidmax Aztec... luckily, they sent two because I broke it again... flimsy handles.

Also, I don't really like Zalmans... that O shape with the fan just turns me off completely, and I don't think it cools extremely well.

66$ Isn't bad. It's worth it!
Just don't buy the last one :P

Thats the one is was looking at for my build. I was told i was pretty loud compared to others

Ah. If it is loud, I wouldn't care. I'm not going for a quite machine. I have 6 case fans running :D
Do you know if it's good for OCing? I would assume it would be.
I'm gona read some more reviews on it.

Link?? I'm planning on purchasing a Zalman for my heatsink as well. Really good reviews on it.

Are you serious?!?!

Have you ever used Zalman coolers before?
Zalmans are geared towards low noise, not cooling. At the price of the cnps9900 there are far better options such as the TRUE. Zalman coolers havent been that good since dual core cpu's when they had the 9700 out.

I have that exact same heatsink.

No problems with Zalman

The last build I thought I would try a new cooler that was in CPU magazine called a Evercool Buffalo HPF17-10025, there like 17 bucks at Newegg. The performance is fine so far BUT it blocks a memory slot with no option "I can find" to mount it different, will most likely buy a zalman.
