Hey there. (wasnt sure what section to put this under as i feel the problem could lie in any number of areas be it o.s, random software or hardware errors).
I am running w7 on my pc. abit fatality fp-in9 sli mobo, xfx 8800 gts gpu, 2gb corsair ram, intel quad core (cant remember which, one of the early ones). ive got two hdd's one that is newish that i run my pc on, and one that is used for backing up.
Every so often it will crash (had written down the message that comes up but ive lost it now, ill edit it in as soon as it crashes again). The really weird thing is that when this happens, my hdd boot sequence swaps round so that the backup one is first and so it doesnt start properly. it boots completely fine as soon as i go into bios and change the boot order back to the way it was. I've tried googling this to find similar problems but had little luck... completely confused!
so have you guys got any ideas of what could be causing this? any extra details you need to know, just ask.
Cheers!
Edit: just remembered, the error that comes up is IRQL_not_less_or_equal
