When i 1st came to this site i looked and found these pictures. Since im almost retired i found that i am bored and looking into any of the advanced features. i bought it new after coming back from Alaska. I bought all the attachments. Telephoto lens, wide screen lens, macro lens and filters. Oh well i have them. i am not a advanced player like some of you. My question is related i have this manual i printed and has to many pages. Ive read the book on changing the settings but don't know what page it was. Would anybody know of some quick reference guide for utilizing all the features. Some how i have to make this easier for me for reference.

thanks

dont know if you ever check back but if your just trying to understand how to take a pic then heres a very basic answer

ISO: the lower the number the better but the less light there is available the higher the number you will need

Shutter Speed: describes how fast the picture is taken, the longer the time the longer it can keep light available to get a nice bright picture, But if it is too slow the pic will be blurry because of camera shake.

Aperature or F setting: The higher the f number the more backgrond you will have in focus. A lower f number is neccessary if you want the background out of focus. A low f number is also necessary if there isnt alot of light. The higher the f number the more light that is needed.

thats the kind of information i was look for. i was going to a book store looking for a nice reference to play with. its a start.
thanks

glad i could help. the internet will have all these answers so i dont really recommend a book. Just ask questions.
