USB speakers to wireless hub?

I recently moved to a studio apartment and I don't have a lot of room so I'm trying to find ways of saving space. Right now I'm planning on just using a laptop with wireless internet and I'm considering using a wireless usb hub for my printer and external hard drive.

My question is, if I had a set of small speakers that received power and audio through a usb port, could I hook the speakers up to the wireless hub and not have to make any connection to my laptop?

Haven't heard anything like it, but that would be interesting to know, you might have to have a wireless adaptor attached to your laptop,

and then you have your speakers plugged into that, yeah it could work.
