usb cable for printer

bought my wife a HP Designer 100Plus.
Question is i can not put on the table. My table is 14ft long.
Have two computers printer, scanner and Nikon coolscan and
both have two dual monitors. the printer is mounted on a
coffee table and about 40" long.

what is the longest usb cable i can use for usb?
Also supports wireless with a card installed.
i could do that. but printing graphics i was afraid it
might be slow.

Any suggestions?
 
wireless printing is just as fast as usb, wireless sends the signal image or w/e its technically called and prints it just like usb
 
hard to pass up the comment from voyagerfan99 about the length of the usb that will work. Thankyou for the comment about the wireless though. i will consider. Im thinking since its slow on the wireless connection the direct connection will be considered.
