URGENT! Sound output help!

Are there any software/app that merges 2 audio outputs (stereo) into 1 audio output (mono) only?

Because I have a headphone that works in mono:
Sounds does come from both sides but BOTH sides plays LEFT SIGNAL ONLY. Example, when I play Counter-Strike, I can hear the enemy from the left side (through both side) but I can't hear the enemy from the right side (through none side). Get it?

I don't want to do anything hardware and I don't care the sound quality/positioning. I just need a software (mononizer :D ).

For headphones only NOT audio out on anything else the local Radio Shack is just the place to find a stereo to mono adapter for 1/8" mini plug jacks. If the jack is stereo and you are using mono headphones that would be one easy place to find this type of adapter for what? under $1. But you can also get a pair of Radio Shack named headphones(Koss plastic with the RS name) for about $30. Even those work great when gaming.

Thanks, but are there any software/app that makes ALL sounds from my computer to come out mono?

Your problem there is not a need for a software but a connection problem sticking a mono plug into a two channel jack. This is why you only hear one side of everything there. Older games will be more apt to be monaural or stereo where you could change audio in some of those. But you are talking about dos and 95-98 games that were out then.

Sound output on any system is controlled by either the program provided for onboard sound or the sound card's own mixer. Switching speaker settings from 2 1/2, 4 channel, 5.1, 7.1 and headphones is done that way. Once you have it set for headphones you simply use the stereo to mono adapter plug for headphone use.

Plugging speakers into only one jack while set to headphones with a 1 into 2 channel adapter there would evenrually fry the sound card or onboard sound chip. For mono you want the 1/8" 1 into 2 type audio plug there. sorry! Everything these days is geared for higher definition sound unless you run an older 9X or dos system where mono was easily found.
