Hey Guys,
I went out and bought a couple new things for my computer earlier today, and am having some problems... which frankly are stumping me, scince they have nothing to do with the hardware i installed.
anyways, I bought a D-Link WDA-1320 Wireless network card, and an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO video card. Installed the wireless card, no problems, so I continued with the install of the Video card. Again, no Problems. Went to play Wolfenstein and listen to music... and realized, NO SOUND!
I went and checked my sound card... and it was replaced by an ATI driver for an HDMI audio support thing. Angry, I uninstalled it, and attempted to install the driver for my onboard sound card.(Realtek RC'75). didn't work. System restore to before I installed the video card. Then reinstalled the card, but opted out of the HDMI audio support. Didn't work. Now I get two things: In the device manager a "PCI Device" shows up, but can't find the software, and no other info is displayed about it. and two: installing the drivers from the realtek site, didn't help neither. It says it installs, but DOSN"T show up in device manager as anything being there.
I need help! What should I doooooo!
Thanks.
