No.

9400 GT is a weak gaming card, and a "branded" 450w power supply is probably no name brand, besides being not enough power.

What site are you building this through?

Depending on what games you're planning to play, I would look for something with at least a quality (Corsair, OCZ, etc) power supply with no less than 600watts and a graphics card, ATI 3800/4600/4800 series or nVidia GTS or GTX.

Besides the power supply and graphics card,is the rest ok,cheers.

Socket 775 Core 2 Quad is ok yes, but the socket will see no more new cpu's because of the Core i5/i7 platform.

How much is this computer you're looking at?

Depends on the games you want to play.

It should play basic games and play videos just fine.

Any heavy 3D rendering games will not run well on
that setup, but you could upgrade the power supply
and graphics card later.

CoD4,WAW and BF Bad Company 2 when it comes out.I'v got a 500watt power supply and Navida 8800gt would they be ok.

The name of power supply is Thermaltake and thanks again for your replies we will have a think on what to do.

ugh 9400 is WEAK, with your CPU you wouldnt be bottlenecked if you went up to a 9800 or a 8800, maybe even a GTX 200 series?

also for those games.... your gonna want more PGU power, since they require more GPU power than CPU. I say find a better GPU and PSU and maybe if it all fits buy that setup and swap some parts :D

look into the
antec earthwatts 650 WATTS

thats always a great PSU to fall back on. Its quiet and powerful as well as energy efficient and a good amount of molex / 6pin and other connectors, you cant go wrong with this PSU
