I am brand new to this site and would like some general info as to what to expect from the sale site at PLATT TECH in MILFOED CT. I am a novice in computer use. I typically use older towers running XP PRO, P111/P4, around 1 GIG, 256, 512. Are there any towers in that catagory? 100 % functional? Testing area with test gear available? I am also looking for a pair of ETHERNET POWERLINE boxes that allow an ethernet signal from one tower/modem/router to be sent to another tower in another room through the house wiring. Would I find it there? Overall pricing? Debit cards accepted? OPERATING SYSTEM installation cds that I could use to replace an earlier OS with xp pro? Or use it to repair a non-functioning OS of the same version? Can a novice understand it?I do not want to clutter up this site with seemingly simple questions, but I need the answers to decide whether the trip is worth it to me. Thank you for any help.

I think your best bet is to contact the company or whatever it is.

You should also rename your thread something more accurate, such as "Anyone used/been to Platt Tech, Milford CT" as your title doesn't really reflect your subject. It suggests information/questions about a sale about to start at a shop.

I obviously can't help you as I am several thousand miles away. Doug.
