It appears that a device driver software is trying download to my computer, but it keeps failing. The error messages reads:


INTEL ICH9 FAMILY USB UNIVERSAL HOST CONTROLLER - 2939 FAILED
" - 2937 FAILED
" - 2938 FAILED
INTEL ICH9 FAMILY USB2 ENHANCED HOST CONTROLLER - 293A FAILED


So there are four cases of failure. The computer seems to be operating fine except for this. And this displays everytime @ start-up. Is there something I can do stop this from happening ? Any info / referral will help...Thanx, Mark
 
What is the exact model of G60 you have. G60 is the series. What I would try doing first is uninstall the devices in device manager and then reboot the system and let the driver reinstall and see what happens.

OK...thanx. I'll try the uninstall deal. If knowing the model # gives some insight, lemme know. Thanx again.

Thanx for the link. I downloaded it...restarted the laptop...still shows error messages @ start-up...will keep trying other things
