Uninstalled sound by mistake

I have a Dell computer that runs pretty good but decided to uninstall some junk today to clean it out. On item I uninstalled was a sound device (by mistake) now whenever I try to get sound from any program the warning box says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device." When I go on to "sound devices" on the control panel it says "no audio device" could someone please tell me how to re install it ? Thanks so much

What model of dell computer do you have? Also, what operating system are you running?

Hey John, it worked and I am up and running. You have helped me as well as a number of folks I have referred. Do you have a special charity or 501c3 that folks could make a small donation in your name for the help you provide, someone that could take PayPal. No one has a ton of money but a few bucks here and there to a charity always helps

Thanks, Dino (remember the Police Chief you really helped out ? )

No need for donations. We are here to provide free help whenever we can. We really appreciate the referrals though as it brings more traffic to the forum.
