uniden pcw100 - connecting to the internet??

I just purchased a used desktop (Dell Dimension 4400), and it came with a Uniden PCW100 wireless USB adapter.

The apartment I live in currently does not have internet access. Is there anyway I can use the PCW100 to connect to wireless internet (ie. mooch off of someone in my building - my roomate has a laptop and is able to get online with that).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, this is possible... but not legal. I know you might not take my advice... ask your roomate how to connect, he can help you.
