Umm... help?

I think this is the right place to post this.
My problem is:
I disconected my cable cable from my pc when i went to clean it, and now there is no internet conection when i reconect it. It says that it can not conect to the local internet thingy (I am running on a home network at home) I click on the error report and it says it does not detect any problem. I click repair, and it tries to renew my IP adress (what is that thingamawho again) but it fails.

Sooooo..... HELP!

Did I mention i neede help!!!!

were u cleaning the inside of your tower? or just the cable plugs?... if u were cleaning the inside.. make sure u didn't uplug anything or loosen the cable modem inside

Restart your router (if you have one) your modem (if you have one) computer (you have one), and your brain (If you have one). Good luck!

Hmmm... I dunno what happened, but it works now!

Guess it needed to verify itself somehow... or something like that.
