Are any of you familiar with Ultra products? Their case and power supplies are really their specialty and their new MicroFLy case is great to work with. Just wanted to see what everyone thought about them overall.

Another forum I go to advertises for them and has doen reviews of a few of their products. From what I recall they are all very high quality products.

Yep I actually have an intake and exhaust system of fans along with the PSU that are from Ultra. They get the job done and I haven't had any problems with them so far. I recommend them for anyone who wants some pretty good stock cooling for less money.

They look like they have a good product line, although it doesn't seem you can buy all their stuff too many places...mainly TigerDirect, I guess. Some at ZipZoomFly, eCost.

Pck21: How is your Ultra memory working out for you? I saw another post where someone was asking about the memory and he was encouraged to go with more of a name brand because Ultra didn't give its clocking speeds. Is that correct? Any problems?

I have 2 Ultra PSUs and an Ultra case and both are just fine. The case is good quality except the front panel is made from cheap plastic, and the case only supports up to 3 80mm fans. I've heard of complaints about their PSUs quality but mine have been working just fine ever since I got them. I need to buy a Flex-Force upgrade kit for the PSUs since the stock cables are really thick and hard to move.

It's working out wonderfully so far and I've had zero problems with it. My gf's Dad has a 1GB stick that he's been using for over a year now and he's had no problems with it either. I think Ultra has great ram for the money compared to any other company. You know I haven't seen their clocking speeds either but just recently I saw somewhere that it's around 3. It's not that great, but it ain't bad either. I play BF2 at all high settings with it so how bad can it be?

I say go for Ultra if you want a budget system but if you're going for a gaming system or overclocking get OCZ. I'm getting a pair of 1GB sticks from OCZ over the summer and I've heard nothing but positive remarks about them. I hope I helped!
