Ughh...sooo...quiet

i posted a thread on this a long while back, but know body really ever gave a good enough answer to my problem...

my speakers are sooooo quiet...when i play games like F.E.A.R. i have to use headphones because the speakers (or maybe even the sound card) isnt giving enough loudness to even hear...

are there ANY programs/drivers whatever i can download to make it go louder?...im willing to try anything...
 
the speakers are poll-audio something...the card is integgrated on my motherboard (im guesing that this means it is crap..therefore my problem) because i used to use the same speakers on my old win98 and they were plenty loud

now on my new improved computer, they are very queit:(
