Tutorial or course for networking

Hi guys

I would like to know more about computer networking. I have already done 1 unit at uni yonks ago and it seems to have escaped my brain.

I was wondering if you know of any free online tutorials or courses from beginner to advanced dealing with networks

Not how to set them up, by things like how they work etc...

I understand your reply because you probably get a lot of lazy idiots on this forum who want everybody to do their work.

However I tried several phrases like that in Google but they seem too vague and make it hard to find what I am after.

learn networking, networking tutorial, teach yourself networking...etc...

So I thought I would ask the good people on this forum if they know of any they could recommend.

Edit- I have read the first one that pops up but the date is 2001 and revised in 2002 and I imagine the networking concepts may have changed since then.

go study for the network + exam, it will teach you basic networking skills. if you can pass the test then you should have a basic idea how it works.

If you dont want to invest in 100$ worth of books and a 120$ test itcant be that important
