turn router off or keep on?

hi, just wondering are you meant to leave your router on all the time e.g like over night and stuff?

just wondering if it will damage it / use loads of power being left on?

i leave it on, i used 2 turn my modem of all the time, then it went...

leaving it on wont hurt anything..

It is meant to be left on all the time, so is your modem.

Anything left on over extended periods of time could lead to a shorter life span... But yes, they are meant to be left on. Now if you're not going to use it for a month or so, you might as well unplug it...
