What is Tumblr for. I have Facebook and Twitter, but everyone seems to be getting Tumblr? I might get it, but I am now wary of my digital footprint so I am being careful.

You use it to write blogs, here's mine http://jasonbrown2012.tumblr.com I mainly just post my photos on there along with other stuff, written hundreds of posts.

Basically tumblr is like a picture blog, instead of writing massive blog posts though, you just post one picture at a time, and hope that they tell the story for you.

Or in other words, a platform for "artistic" people to show how far they can use Instagram.
