Troubleshooting a Linksys wireless router

My desktop is connected via ethernet cable to a Linksys wireless router. (There's another comp in the house with wireless access) Around once a day, my connection fails but the other comp seems to be working fine. When I unplug the power supply from the router and plug it back in, it works fine (for about a day)

I had this problem earlier and was told to download a firmware update from Linksys' website. I just did that and the problem still persists.

It's a Linksys Wireless-B Broadband router. Any tips?

are you sure is the router and not the modem? when you lose connection is the light on on the modem?

it could be a dodgy ethernet connector on your mobo you can buy pci ethernet cards cheap enough ,I use a linksys router and my connection tends to drop out if i am using utorrent

When this problem is going on, the modem's "send" light isn't lit. I try to restart the modem, but that alone has no effect. When I restart the router, I'm back online (again, for about a day)
