Trade- I5 for Core 2

Decided to scrap the I5 build idea and just go with a core 2. So I have my I5 CPU here, looking for a nice Core 2 quad or really good core 2 duo (E8400 or better) for trade.

Money can be despersed either way. If your core2 is worth more, I'll provide some cash on top....and vice versa.

Would trade straight up for a Q9400 or Q9505. E8400/8500 I would want a little cash on top, not a whole lot.

I have not fired up this CPU ever, never had a motherboard. Comes with box and stock HSF of course. I don't necessarily need a HSF from a 775 CPU because I have my TRUE, but if it includes a stocker thats fine.

Also wanted to clarify, this is used but never overclocked according to the previous owner. Not NIB.

i know you'll be much worse off with any C2X, moving from an e8400 to an i5 was a massive jump. why did you decide to sell?
 
I dunno, it's way more CPU than I need. Even a Q9xxx is more powerful than a Phenom II. I'm really more interested in a core 2 quad than an E8XXX.

I still may keep it not sure, I need to get a decent offer to let it go.
