sorry buddy, even though p2p isnt illegal, the majority of its uses are. and if you need to cover up what you are doing with a ip mask, chances are you aren't into the limited legal uses ;)

cant help you out.

I only use torrents to download legal stuff becaues they are generally faster than the mirrors that most freeware sites/game downloads have. For instance, right now I have WoW downloading, I can get it from their site, but I need it at a patch lower than they give (they give to 3.0.1, I need 2.4.3) and don't have my discs, lent them to a friend and he managed to loose 2 of them and scratch the hell out of the others, so download the game and expansions and then download the patches from the WoW site. It is legal, but I still have p2p blocking, I don't want anyone able to find me anyway, it is like I won't give my home address away willy nilly.

I use peer guardian too, but on my main computer I can't what with it being 64 bit and peer guardian not having 64 bit support. Have looked for others, not extensively I should point out, but haven't found them that work with a 64 bit OS

Peerguardian sucks....its old and never updates. Peerblock = x64 ready and weekly updates its where peerguardian left off. I find it is even superior on blocking bad sites (which is my primary use)

That isn't true the moment you connect to a seed/peer they see your ip period there is no hiding unless you proxy or VPN. What it does is block malicious IP from connecting to you and sending bad data etc. Least this is what I found true as I can see my IP from my friends house when I was uploading some demos :P

If you pay for cable and get the TV shows then its not illegal. If your downloaded TV shows and you don't pay for the channels = illegal.
I actually called my cable company to ask as I prefer the quality over VHS :P

Majority of the shows i DL are free, Family guy on FOX ( giggity ), CSI, etc...but once in awhile i have been known to DL a HBO show....
