Tochpad disabled - help

look in your device manager to see if it has a yellow ! on it or a ? on it. If it does, then download the drivers for it from the manufacturer.
Also, look in the BIOS for a disable setting. I found on a old lappy i have that a lot of my broken stuff was actually just disabled in the BIOS.

third thing isto check for a button or key with the touchpad disable command on it. HP puts them on teh top dead center, Acer makes it FN+F7.

Thanks mate - turned out to be the button after the function ones! Laptop is a Dell but on a previous Laptop I had to use 3 buttons...
