To buy on Black Friday or to wait until Cyber Monday?

So, my dilemma is whether I should buy on Black Friday or buy on Cyber Monday. Are the deals on both days the same, or does one typically have better deals than the other? What I mean is are they synonomous?

If any of you have bought core computer components on either day, please let me know how good the deals were.

Best case scenario would be if someone replied who bough items on both days and could let me know which is typically better to buy on.

i say if you find and can get a good deal on blck friday, then go for it. cyber monday is more for like people who don't feel like getting trampled on blck friday. there could be similar deals, or better deals, or worse deals.

i bought some games on amazon last cyber mnday, will probably again this time around. i'm also keeping an eye on laptops & hdtvs :D
 
Thanks for the reply. I have a wish list set up on Newegg for around 1300 bucks. I'm hoping with some deals that it will go down to around 1000, so we'll see I guess. Good luck :)
 
I am waiting for Cyber Monday....newegg's BF sale SUCKED they forced MIR down our throat like we are pornstars this year. Plus the sale prices sucked pretty much all around. With luck Cyber Monday will be better all around. Not a single decent deal on SSDs either...really urked me as I thought for sure the 80GB x25-m would have a good sale with the 120GB just coming out.
 
buy on black friday. If there's better stuff on cyber monday, return the bf stuff and buy online.

Done.
 
I agree, Newegg fell short with the inital sale. Fingers crossed for some real good deals later in the week.

Best advice i could give is 50% off of an item you don't need is the worst deal of them all. Make a list of items you would hope to get then when the prices are released it will be easy. Don't get caught up in all the buzz...

Honestly I think those were the BF deals for Newegg but I hope this is just the first wave. Just in case I am staying up till 2am tonight (12am PST) to make sure. I really wanna get a $1 per GB ssd to tide me over for the next gen and with my trimmed OS its more room then I need :P

Well next wave of BF deals...really sucked imho. Worse then the first set if you ask me. I did grab a 2TB HDD for $60 @ Tigerdirect though.

Yep. Have no fear though both days SUCKED sales wise by Newegg. I mean sure there was a few decent deals but over all it seems both days in general all over sucked.
 
It's too late now anyways, but Cyber Monday isn't anything special, for the most part it's just left over stock from Black Friday with a few other deals thrown in.
