Tired of the same message!

Ok so my old computer Died (due to ocing) and in stuck on this laptop (Dell Lat.D800 with 1 gig o ram) and i am wired down. Now on the other hand my sister (same computer) is on wireless with the built in adapted on the laptop. Well just like when i had my Desktop i got this message when i tried to connect my workgroup over the network:

on my desktop one day it just stopped showing up. (was wireless on desktop thru a USB54G linksys thing.)

My Wireless router is a Linksys WRT54G and has gotten the latest firmware upgrades.

So... you are saying that you cannot access the network? Have you checked the cable connection, permissions with the server?
