this thing pisses me off

hi guys, currently on wireless connected to a router downstairs, and whenever the computer downstairs is turned on, it is connected directly to the router using a ethernet wire. so whenever its turned on, the upstair computer always loses connection, then reconnect and at certain time loses it again and etc.. it seems that the router is shutted down, because at that moment both computers, upstairs lost it's signal and downstairs shows the ethernet wire is disconnected and then it reconnect itself =/

any idea of whats happening here?
any idea how to solve this?

I'm not 100% sure of the problem but basically you're loosing the connection when one of your wired machines is turned on, correct? When you loose the wireless connection, do you also loose the wired connection?
