hi i have a broken thinkpad t22 p3 i think either 900 or 800 mhz has 256mb ram, good screen and a 20gb hdd, but the hdd has a password on it and the laptop has either a supervisor pw or bios pw which i can not get around it has a the ac adapter to everything else seems to be in working order its in great shape cosmetic wise.....

I'm not interested but just for clarity the only problem it has is that its password protected? and wat os does it have 98?

the hdd also has a pw on it so im not sure u cant boot it with out he supervisor pw and hdd pw

yes other than that it still boots up screen works, has battery 256 mb ram, ac adapter just them 2 probs

I wouldn't call it broken cuz u can just take it into a computer repair shop and they probably can crack the password cuz I can

BIOS password - Take out CMOS battery, then passord is gone.
Windows - Reformat with the COA and your fine.

oscary sorry but nope cmos was out for a week did nothing, and its a supervisor password and u cant access the hdd without puttin the pw, the pw is saved in the firmware of the hdd
