Themaltake Blue Orb 2 or Big Typhoon?

My friend reciently got a AMD Athlon X2 4400+ and he wants to overclock it a little bit. He wants to overclock it 200MHz more. He got nice copper heatspreaders for his RAM, and 3 80mm fans and 2 120mm fans for his case.

Now for his CPU, he is not sure what fan to choose. He needs one that will keep a overclocked CPU cool with some space for more overclocking. Which of the two mentioned above should he choose?

If you know something better in the price range of $50 to $80 Canadian, feel free to inquire me.

they're about evenly matched from what i've seen, obviously there will be slight differences between the two depending on the situation they're in.

Probably because its EXTREMELY huge! I think my friend will go with the Blue Orb because it won't take up that much space in his case, but he would still like some more opinions.

is this the same blue orb as that?
cus the one in that link is pretty huge, and my friend has it and is very impressed with its performance...

Heatpipes are the main difference. The typhoons got 6, the orb 0.
Ah yes, but can you explain what these heatpipes do? As you can see I know nothing about cooling. Hmm....let me take a guess, they transfer heat faster to the fan?:D

The typhoon performs better in actual testing:

To quote the review:
the (Blue Orb II) is good, but can’t match the performance of coolers on heat pipes. Moreover, it works at a higher speed than the Big Typhoon, for example.
