my 7900gtx is coming tomorrow and so is my x24800. the case i am getting is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811144090 which is the aspire x navigator. it comes with a 500W power supply. do you think that will be good enough to run both of those with asus sli deluxe mobo and corsair xms series ram? the 7900 is not overclocked from the factory and i dont think i will be doing ne major overclocking with the cpu either. So can i use the PSU that comes with the case?

The 7900GTX requires anywhere from 400-450W PSU, you should be good. :)

Personally, I would go with the PSU I have in my signature below. I also have a 7900GTX.

You confused me when you said X24800............next time say X2 4800 (with the space).

Anyways I think that case is a little expensive. You can get an Aspire X-cruise without a power supply for $59 and then you can get a really nice PSU for abou $100 and spend the same amount as you would have on that x-navigator.

Whilst it is always to have 500w handy, it is also important to have storng 12v rail(s). The PSU that comes with the case has 34a on the 12v rail, so its a strong PSU.

Hell, you actually get decent PSUs with cases soemtimes! Usually its the cheapers Generic crap they can get!

Yeah, with 34a, you should be OK, but if you were going to go SLI, then i would reccomend something better.

For two GeForce 7900 GTX-based graphics cards running in NVIDIA SLI configurations, a minimum 500W PCI Express compliant system power supply (with 12V rating of 34A) is recommended. He would be ok, but at the minimum recommendation. :)
