Hi,

I have set up a server with a Epox 8K5A3+ a few days ago. I connected 10 hard drives to it but after a few days, my new Antec NEO HE 550W has given up...

Which power supply can you suggest? I went through a lot of reviews for this Neo power from Antec... If it could be silent as well...

thats an OCZ 700watt.
i dont know how you could go wrong with that wattage :)
it also has Active PFC, and 6 sata connectors (which it looks like you'll need)
its a bit expensive, if you're into computer modding i can show you how to get an easy kilowatt... i'll have to find the FAQ on overclock.net but you can setup dual Power supplies, im thinking maybe you use one Power Supply for the Hard drives lol
it'd be better than that other power supply he showed you... $470??! yea right i can setup a kilowatt for under $200 lol
plus, 700watts is a lot anyways.

what are the specs on the server your trying to fix?
let me guess, P4 or Pentium D... lol netburst = wattage HOG

PC Power and Cooling PSUs are always pretty expensive. I was kinda meaning that as a joke unless he had a lot of money to blow. I did ask what his budget was.
