It's a nice website I just built. I thought this would be a place that people would be interested in it. It's a complete project for people who would be interred in building a dos and win3.11 computer. It has everything you need. It took quite a while to build. But it's ok if they're not interested here. I built it mainly for young computer hobbiests, who never used it. It's the the computer I started with in 1992.

For what it is worth, I don't speak for anyone else here necessarily. So don't let me being an asshole stop you from posting.

The main 'annoyance' if you will is simply registering to spam your website. It'd be a different story if you had some other intent of coming here such as being participative in other areas.

I just joined yesterday. I will post on other topics. I have a lot of computer experience. It's not really spam. I'm not selling anything. It's a link to a nice computer site, totally relevant to this forum.

I give up - not going to spend my time trying to explain myself constantly.

Don't take it personally. We get a ton of people that come through and drop a website URL for the first post and are never seen again. You're actually posting stuff in other places so you're fine.

Come on, you sign up and your first post is a link to your website. I get it, you're trying to share it to as many people as you can, people that might be interested, but that is called spamming. I'm sure you know that since you are a computer hobbyiste. And you (should) also know that most of the times, this is not accepted on forums. Anyway if you plan on staying, make sure you read the rules. Have a nice stay. :)

I never seen so many people obsessed with posting a link. I posted a lot of replies on posts just after that, and worked on my profile. It just seems like people on here are just looking to pic a fight. Instead of scolding me on links, why do you ask me some computer questions and about my self. Come on now. Can we just forget about the links and move on. I got it the first time.

My message was just explaining our point of view and then moving on. We've explained the rules and now you know them, so no need to go on on this from my point of view. :)
