Task Scheduler

I know I can turn on a program using task scheduler.. But is there away to turn off a program?

Essentially what Im trying to do is run steam overnight in my offpeak unmetered broadband times (at the moment between 4am and 8am)...

So I need my computer to automatically turn on steam at 4am and then turn it off again at 8am...

Cheers

There might be an easier solution, but here's my two cents:

Set your BIOS alarm to turn on the computer at 4AM. Have Steam start with Windows. Then use a shutdown timer to shutdown your computer 4 hours later. Here's a minimal shutdown utility HERE

Oh, and if you have a password on your user (or multiple users), you'll have to enable automatic logon.

EDIT: If you're good with task scheduler and just want to start Steam with that, continue doing so and just use the shutdown counter.
