Hello, for the past couple of months my PC has been crashing whist playing BF3. It usually happens after around 15 minutes and I am unable to ALT-Tab out of the game and have to physically restart the PC. Last month I re-installed Windows 7 and the problem stopped for a few weeks but has now started crashing again? I'm thinking It could possibly be a windows update that could be interfering with the game? Is this a possibility?

My PC is not overclocked at all and my current setup is listed below:

NZXT Switch 810 Case
intel i7 930 @ 2.8Ghz
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Mobo
Evga Geforce GTX 670
600w PSU
6GB Corsair Ram @ 1066Mhz

Thanks in advance :)

Does it blue screen or just freeze up. Can you give us the exact model of power supply you have? Also could be a ram issue.

Hello there pal, It bluescreens every once in a while (After Crashing) however it usually just freezes and makes a buzzing noise.. The PSU is a : Xclio GREATPOWER x14s4p4 650Wat

Its doing my head in haha

You definately could do with a better PSU.

can you please scan with bluescreenview and post back with the output?

I have downloaded the bluescreenviewer however strangely I do not have a Minidump folder in "C:/Windows" ?? Which means it isn't showing any BSOD's

You might want to a scan for malware too, use Malwarebytes and see if it finds anything.

You'd benefit from a better PSU too.

Would having a version of windows 7 that isn't genuine possibly have something to do with it?

UHM... very possibly could. And since you don't have a genuine operating system installed we can't help you any further.
