Switch ports for audio!

I've got a 2.1 speaker system which I'd like to run using the the ports on my motherboard (at the back of my case). I switched from a different motherboard and this one only seems to run the speakers through a headphone jack build onto the front of my tower, which butchers sound quality with static and other evils. How would i go about swiching settings or connecting jumpers to enable the motherboard outlets to work? (My motherboard type is listed below)

Check your drivers... I find it quite odd that only your front ones work as it's usally the opposite with other people! So...I'm expecting you might have some sort of 5.1 or something setup any perhaps the computer just isn't playing the correct audio though the ports(ie, nothing) I have a similar problem in games when I'm in 5.1(the only way I can get my sub working) because I don't have audio in some games...
