Suggestions?

If you need a wireless card, then yes, they are fine. I run a linksys card and router. Nice to have, especially with laptops...
 
yea im looking to put one on a desktop, cause the location of the router is well in a different area than where I plan to place my computer
 
If your going to get a few network cards, go with D-Link. I've had Linksys
and their junk. I have a D-624 router (108mb/s) with the same network cards(thats smokin' fast). No problems.
 
well Im currently using Verison DSL, and they supply you a router so what am I suppose to do now? What would be a good wireless network card/adaptor?

If the Verison router is not wirless then you will have to buy a wireless router AND a wireless card. I use a linksys router and card, they work fine for me.
