Subwoofer question!

Anybody know of a Female 3.5mm stereo audio to Male RCA Stereo audio converter? I have a subwoofer from a computer speaker system I'd like to use with my home theater system. Problem is, the Receiver takes a RCA Audio cable whereas the computer subwoofer plug is a 3.5mm audio. Or can this even be done?
 
I think you want a 'hole' for the 3.5mm jack to go into, which leads to the RCA plugs that go into the back of your hifi...? Like below:

SUB---------3.5mm Male jack --> 3.5mm Female jack-----------RCA Male jacks ----> RCA female sockts on hifi.

(Key: xxx------xx = wire, xxx--->xx = plug)

If thats the case (if you can understand my flowchart thingy), yes you can I have one. Don't know where I got it though I am afraid.

Thats waht i thought but i don't reckon there will be a male jack coming out of the sub.

Anyhow to the original poster either way yes you can do it, just a matter of finding the right cable with adapters. Do some googling.
 
Yeah you can do it...go to any good music store can pick one up cheap.


I believe my cousin got his from Sweetwater.com (local for us)

You are basically correct. I went to best buy today, I didn't see any such adapter. I will check Radio Shack tomorrow. I searched online and I couldn't find any such adapter. Any one find one?
