everything just posts there max wats its freaking gay

Just go for quality of sound then. You don't need pumping bass if you are on a budget. Buy a nice set of speakers instead from a reputable company like Pioneer and so forth. You may not have amazing bass as you would with a subwoofer but you will have some good quality sound for relatively cheap.

+1 why do you need to hear all the doof doof

Generally speaking as in this case the bigger the size of the cone; the lower the frequency is of the bass that can be produced. (the bigger the cone the more air it can move so it can produce lower frequencies)

The 12inch sub will go down to 28Hz while the 15inch sub goes 3Hz lower down to 25Hz. Also the 15inch sub can handle 300watts more of RMS power.

ok 1 dont buy anything boss boss audio hasnt been good for a very long time

if you are aroudna 50 dollar budget id look into dayton audio for hometheater or comp subs tang bands are what logitech uses but they only make up to 8 inch subs last time i checked (its been awhile)

and nomatter waht sub you get its dependant on the box you put it in so waht do you want to use it for movies etc. or music mostly? if music what kind of music genres
if you want it for hometheater the vac of the sub should be a bit higher becasue the speaker will have to move more air to get "loud" in such a large area
also the fs of the sub should be as low as you can find for hometheater
try partsexpress.com for hometheater subs

when you find another brand or sub you like post it up and ill tell you if its good for what you want to use it for

im an audio junkie and install stereo systems so any info you need jsut message me and ill try to help you out

atm ive got a 15 inch kicker cvr in my room for movies running off a car battery and charger ..youll need a plate amp to power the sub as well
