Stumped

Put a used motherboard in a used desktop, refurbished the HD. At startup all fans running, CD/DVD door operates, get "Long Continue Beeps", no video. Have checked the power supply and appears to be OK. This motherboard had worked in another desktop. My info on "Beep Codes" tell me this "Continues Long Beep" means the "Graphic Card Not Inserted Properly" tried a graphic card, same thing. Any suggestions?

one continuous beep means either Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem

Have you reset the CMOS?...try that.

the little battery on the mobo,remove it for a few seconds and put it back in.

Could be a card not installed all the way. Could be you dont have the standoffs under the board in the right places. Probably a short out somewhere.
