Bit torrent is not an internet browser like IE. Bit torrent is a program download center where a user can download multiple files at once. While the files are USUALLY illegal in content, it is not always.

You can block the bit torrent ports from being accessible. I believe it is ports6881-6999.

Is there any other way i could stop it as hes downloading all the time and my connection is 2mb and its like 56k how slow it goes when he downloads off bit torrent and as soon as it stops its the speed is back as it should be.

block the ports that the torrent program uses. if you own the router then access its controls and configure the ports from there.

BT can user any port. You need a device like Packeteer or another bandwidth shpping APP.

If ths is for home, yell at the guy. If its for work buy Packeteer.
