speakers

They look nice to me, but I feel you should either get a pair of headphones, or get those with a Sub. A sub is deffiantly needed IMHO, and others. A lot of headphones have good bass, to.

I would definitely go with M-Audio over Logitech.

Also, it really depends what you'll be using your speakers for in regards to whether or not you need a subwoofer. For movies & gaming yes it's a generally good idea, but with music it can get a bit tiresome after a while.

I have a set of Cambridge Audio speakers wired up to a Pioneer amplifier, they are rear ported and are housed in a deep enclosure, which to me, and others who have listened to my system think is plenty. :)

All I can say about the M-Audio speakers is AVOID. Perhaps I had a defective set, but a week after I got mine I noticed a slight rattle. As I repackaged them for an exchange, I realized the rattle wasn't the speaker but something loose inside... Turns out to be the casing from one of the capacitors inside, with the adjacent one looking a bit puffy as well!

Now these are the AV30s so maybe the new ones are better. I will admit they sounded really good, but I simply don't trust them now.

Since I returned those, I got these...

And have not regretted it since.
