Speakers making high pitch squeeling sound plz help

hi basically my speakers are constantly making a high pitch sound which is really annoying, i recently bought a new computer but they have been working fine most of the time, this sound has happened before but not for this long. I recently took my computer back to the shop i bought it from and they changed the graphics card as the monitor i had with the computer had to be replaced several times as each one had lost one of the colours after a week or so of use resulting in a pink or blue screen. I am now wondering whether my speakers could be somehow interferring with the monitors signasl and vice versa. i know alot of info but ne information would be much appreciated as i got loads of work an jus wanna play games without this hassel! :(

Radeon 9600 series (pro)
on board sound
 
The only advice I can give is have you tried a new set of speakers yet or not, sometimes speakers get knackered and make the noises you described or your sound card may be blown by static when the were working on your PC in the shop, but then again if it had been blown no sound should come from your speakers. All I can suggest is try new speakers or buy a new sound card
 
i have tried the speakers on my monitor but they r just the same i think ill ring the shop, thanks neway mayb they will upgrade for free as i having alot of trouble with my computer :(
 
hmmmmmmm, it depends all you might need to do is buy a new set of speakers as your cable might be a bit dodgy so your best bet will probably be to get a new set of speakers, either way just take it to the shop and find out what it wrong.
