Speakers Buzz

When I plug my speakers into the rear line-out port on my computer, the speakers buzz when the volume knob is turned all the way up. The buzz is significantly lower, almost silent, when using the computer's front headphone port. What's causing this buzz in the rear line-out port?

sounds like a bad jack off hand or a ground issue. Can't really offer much more then that.

I've heard a lot of speakers buzz, but never really thought about it. i thought it was just something to do with the volume being all the way up. i'll research this and see!



***UPDATE*** I've found out that it could be because you're wires aren't plugged in all the way, also if you have a microphone in, disable it because if it is enabled, you could get feedback from that. Also if your sound card supports DIGITAL Audio output, you could try to disable that. see if any of these things help. If not, i'll keep trying to find things for you.
