Speakers and a Headset.

For some reason, some programs sound come out of my headset and others come out of my speakers. For example, ventrilo sound comes out of my headset, while when i play games like counter-strike, that sound comes out of the speakers. I want all the sound to come directly out of my headset, what do i do to fix this? Thanks
