speaker connecting??

well ive decided to use my hifi system for my computer speakers, as they are worth quiet a bit and pump out some awsome sound, they are Jamo, what more can i say. know i just need to what is the best way to hook them up to the computer, the are connected to the hifi system, and i got a DFI board which has 7.1 built in, so iam just wanting a way to connect them that will give me the best overall performance.

You did not say how many speakers, 2? With only two speakers you can only set up the pc audio for stereo.

How you connect depends on what inputs and outputs you have available on the pc. You could connect with 3.5mm mini-jack(PC) to RCA/phono cable(amp), or SPDIF or optical digital interface if your pc/amp have that. From a typical DFI spec I see that you may have SPDIF - does the amplifier?
