Soundcard and USB headset

Right now I'm using the onboard sound card on my 680i motherboard, if I purchase a sound card will my 5.1 USB headset take advantage of this or will I need to get a headset that has all the plugs to go into the back of the sound card to take advantge of it???

You'll have to get speakers or a headset that will take advantage of all the outputs, otherwise it will be plan 2.1 stereo output.

so my 5.1 USB headset won't work with a 5.1 sound card? >_<

Yes it will as long as it has 3 x 3.5mm jacks.

This headset only has a USB connector T_T Do you know of any good 5.1 headsets that have that? I live in Canada btw T_T

He lives in Canada so newegg wont work. go to www.tigerdirect.ca and do as cohen has suggested.
