sound tweaking

When it comes to turning up the sound, the voume on the computer, either laptop or desktop, I often find the sound still isnt loud anough. This is even the case with external speakers sometimes. What I was wondering, is there a way to tweak the sound, so that even if the volume is maxed, still get it louder?

Get a more powerful set of speakers? It seems like an easy solution. If your computer is maxed at sending out sound, then nothing will make the sound greater but a more powerful set of speakers. I'm also assuming you've gone into the Windows Sound Mixer and made sure the sliders are up...

get a higher watt speaker...and if you want to listen to music and stuff, laptop speakers usually aren't that great.
