sound problem

Leave it up to the little ones to create problems I can't fix on my puter...lol

Here's my problem....my 4 and 6 year old were playing on the computer the other day and seemed to have changed a setting somehow...sound still works fine, however, it has a echo to it, like my computer was set up in a cave....

I've checked out all the sound settings and properties in the control panel and can't seem to figure out the problem...running windows xp, no special sound card, and just wanting to restore back to original settings...the echo kinda screws things up as far as watching dvd's, playing games, etc...

any help would be appreciated, tia

just messin with ya all....for the future benefit of anyone experiencing the same problem, that mayhaps stumbles upon this thread, my little ones managed to stray into the control panel and created a new sound scheme...

fixed now and back to normal
