I just finished my first build, and one of the problems with this computer is that if it is harder to listen to music than it should be. If I start my computer, open iTunes, and play a song, there is no sound (i'm using headphones.) To get to the sound, i need to click on the Sound Effect icon, and then click on the Speaker Configuration submenu, and as soon as I do that I start hearing the music. I have a GIGABYTE motherboard. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Check AUDIO properties in the CONTROL-PANEL.

Click on the speaker settings, in the VOLUME tab, and select STEREO HEADPHONES.
Click on the AUDIO tab - SOUND-RECORDINGS - VOLUME, and select the correct INPUT. (Eg: LINE-IN).
