For some reason my sound just stopped working, whenever I try to play audio I get an error and when I open up the audio settings in control panel I see this
anyone have any ideas?
-Eric
edit: I should also mention, on the audio tab all the fields to select playback device are grayed out. and the grey speaker icon to control sound is not in the system tray, but the program for the sound card (Realtek HD audio manager) is there, I've tried going through the device manager, and it says that the sound card is enabled, I also cannot find the drivers anywhere, the sound card is a Realtek AC883, just regular onboard audio, sorry for the lack of information before, I'm just desperate to get this fixed.
