Sound from only front 2 and sub

Hello, I have the logitech x530 5.1 speaker system and I recentley purchased a dynex DC-SC51 5.1 Sound Card. I have disabled the onboard audio card, installed the new one, installed the driver, and changed the windows setting to 5.1 speakers. When I try to play music I only get sound from thr left, right and sub. When I test the speakers through the sound card software all the speakers do work, any ideas on what the problem is ?? also my machine is an emachines T2824

Go to the sound card control panel(there should be one somewhere) and turn surround on from there, that should work.

Did the soundcard come with drivers on a cd? If so it should have come with a program as well, at least creatives do, make sure its loaded, start up that program and change it to 5.1.
